  • Educational qualification-  

A candidate having the minimum degree of matriculation from any approved state govt./ central govt. The university is eligible for filling up this form. A candidate having passed the exam in one go will be preferred over the candidates passing the exam compartmentally.

  • Age limit and relaxation

In order to apply for this post, one must be 18 years of age and not less than that.  The maximum age limit for this age is 40 years as per the notification on the official website. The OBC candidates have an age relaxation of 3 years while the SC-ST candidates have an age relaxation of 5 years. The physically handicapped candidates get an age relaxation of 10 years.

  • Computer knowledge and certificate

This requires a computer training certificate of at least 60 days from any recognized computer training center. Certificates from any central or state government computer training center are also acceptable. This certificate is not required for those students who studied computer as a subject in std. 10th or 12th. In this case, the student has to submit the certificate that can prove that he has studied computer at matriculation.

  • Residence

Once you are selected for the post, you will have to shift your residence to the village branch you have been selected for. This should be done within the span of 1 month. A declaration requires to be submitted by the candidate in this regard in the respective post office branch.

  • Pay scale

The selected candidates for this post get a salary of Rs. 5,200 to 20,200 and a grade pay of rupees 2400 along with other facilities.

  • Selection procedure for the candidates

An automatic merit list is generated and the candidates are selected on the basis of that. One can go through the official notification for the detailed set of rules. Marks obtained in matriculation are of higher value for this post whereas the higher educational qualifications are not considered. A candidate needs to pass in all the subjects.
